Unboxing and First Impressions
From the moment I took the Creality Falcon A1 Pro of the box, I was impressed with its secure and organized packaging. Everything is well-protected, including a test kit so you can start experimenting almost immediately, plus all the tools and cables needed for setup.
What I loved most is that this is a Class 1 laser with a closed design, making it safer for home use. My machine also came with the rotary attachment included for cylindrical engraving, and its built-in camera makes it easy to align designs precisely and avoid material waste.

Software and Ease of Use
The machine works with multiple programs, including Falcon Design Space, which is free and developed by Creality Falcon, as well as more advanced software like LightBurn and LaserGRBL. I chose to use Falcon Design Space because it makes it easier to connect the camera, take advantage of auto-focus, and use pre-set material parameters, which speeds up setup and ensures safe operation.
Additionally, the software includes a gallery of free designs and project ideas, perfect for inspiration or to use directly in your projects. This was very helpful while testing the machine.

Tests with Included Materials
Wood Cutting and Engraving
For my first project, I tested the machine with 3mm balsa wood. I made a very intricate shadow box for guest signatures at a wedding, and I was amazed at how clean and precise the cut was. No smoke marks or visible burns, and the machine worked fast and accurate.

I also engraved wooden tags for party favors and applied butcher block oil to highlight the engraving, giving a professional finish.

Acrylic Cutting and Engraving
I tested red, yellow, and black acrylic sheets, performing both cuts and engravings. The edges were very sharp, and the engravings came out excellent. When working with acrylic, I always use a protective mask to avoid fumes.

Felt and Cardstock
Using automatic parameters, I cut and engraved felt and cardstock. The results were clean and smoke-free, even with very detailed designs — perfect for delicate wedding invitations and cards.

Cylindrical Object Engraving
The rotary attachment was easy to install and connected flawlessly. I engraved a tumbler, and the results were clean and professional. I also tested metal tags using the 2W IR laser, performing line and filled engraving, both of which came out beautifully.

Conclusion
After testing the Creality Falcon A1 Pro multiple materials, intricate cuts, engravings, and cylindrical objects, I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. I was impressed by its ease of use, the quality of cuts and engravings, and its versatility across wood, acrylic, metal, and more.
This machine is ideal for creators, personal projects, or small businesses, especially if you work with custom products or delicate decorations.
