Why Trust SCULPFUN?
SCULPFUN is known for its high-quality laser engraving machines and has built a strong reputation for precision and reliability. Seeing them now venture into the world of heat presses with the SCULPFUN H1 Auto Heat Press is truly exciting. If their innovation and attention to detail in laser engravers are anything to go by, this heat press is definitely worth checking out.
First Impressions of the Design
When removing the Sculpfun automatic press From the box, the first thing that impressed me was its modern design and compact. With a work area of 15 x 15 inches, is ideal for customization projects big size, without losing space in my workshop. The best of all is its system full lift, which makes it very easy to place the materials without the risk of burns, since the press is completely raised while we prepare the design or garment. This feature is key, especially for those of us who work with hot materials during the process.

Key Features of the Sculpfun Automatic Press
- Work Area: 15 x 15 inches, ideal for medium to large sized projects.
- Adjustable Pressure: 40, 60 and 80 kg, which allows the pressure to be adapted to the type of material.
- Adjustable Temperature and Time: You can easily set the temperature, time and pressure to suit different transfer types (sublimation, DTF, transfer paper, etc.).
- Safe Design: The applied pressure system of bottom up Ensures even pressure distribution and reduces the risk of burns. Plus, it lifts up completely, making it easy to handle materials without touching hot surfaces.
Machine Setup: Quick and Easy
Setting up the press is extremely simple. It has intuitive buttons to adjust the temperature, he time and the pressure depending on the material you are using. Plus, it features a rotary knob that makes adjustments even faster and more precise. Here is a brief description of the controls:
- Default Modes (Button 1)
- Temperature (Button 2): Adjust the temperature with the knob.
- Time (Button 3): Adjust the pressing time with the knob.
- Pressure (Button 4): Adjust the pressure with the knob, with options of 40, 60 and 80 kg.
It’s as easy as choosing the right setting and turning the knob to set everything up quickly. Even if you are a beginner, you will feel comfortable using the machine after a few tries.
Press Performance: Pressing with Different Materials
I carried out tests with sublimation, transfer paper and DTF to check how the machine performs with each of these materials. Here I share my results:
Pressed with Transfer Paper for Light Colors:
I started with a design printed on transfer paper for light colors. This type of paper is ideal for personalizing light-colored garments. I printed it on mirror mode and pressed it into a pale pink t-shirt. For this material, I used the settings of 330°F during 20 seconds. The result was a clean, well-adhered design. The press He applied even pressure and the colors transferred perfectly to the fabric.

Sublimation Pressed:
Then I tried the sublimation in a polyester tote bag. I used a sheet of parchment paper inside the bag to avoid stains and I secured the design with tape. I pressed the bag to 360°F during 60 seconds and the result was incredible. The vibrant colors transferred perfectly to the bag, with no smudges or misaligned edges. This machine is ideal for projects sublimation and allows precise pressing with homogeneous pressure distribution.
If you would like to learn everything about sublimation, I invite you to see my tutorials on my YouTube channel. There you can find several tutorials on this topic.
Pressed with DTF (Direct to Film):
Lastly, I tried the DTF. Personalize a cotton canvas tote bag. For this type of printing, I set the machine to 320°F by 20 seconds. After pressing, I let it cool before removing the transparent film. I put the film back in and pressed for others 10 seconds. The design transferred perfectly, with vivid colors and a lasting impression.
If you would like to know more in detail about the personalized ones in DTF, I invite you to go to my channel. Youtube there I show you everything you need to know about this technique.
Conclusion: Is the Sculpfun Automatic Press Worth It?
After trying the Sculpfun automatic press with three different materials, I can say with certainty that it is a high performance machine. Here are my final impressions:
- Easy to Use: Ideal for both beginners and customization experts. The controls are intuitive and easy to adjust.
- Uniform Pressure: Pressure distribution is excellent, ensuring uniform pressing and professional results.
- Versatility: Works with various materials, such as transfer paper, sublimation and DTF, offering impeccable results in each test.
