You will learn the print settings ideal for obtaining vibrant and sharp colors in your prints. Plus, I’ll show you how to optimize your Epson EcoTank printer for sublimation, guaranteeing professional results in each project. Let’s get started!

Document Settings in Canva
- Enter canva.com.
- Select the size of the document you are going to work on:
- Press “Custom size” the “Custom Size”.
- Change the units to inches.
- Enter the measurements of the document according to the size you want to print:
- Horizontal Chart: 11 x 8.5 inches.
- Carta Vertical: 8.5 x 11 inches.
- Large Format: 19 x 13 inches (for broadband printers such as Epson EcoTank ET-15000).
- Click Create and your page will be ready.

Acquire or Create Designs in Canva
Canva is a great option for finding and customizing designs for any occasion. Their gallery offers a wide variety of free options, from illustrations to ready-to-use templates. If you decide to pay for membership, you’ll get access to an even larger collection of exclusive designs and fonts. Additionally, you can create your own designs by combining elements such as images, fonts, colors and backgrounds available on the platform. If you already have a design ready, you can also upload it to Canva and fine-tune it before printing directly from there.
- Using Canva Gallery Designs:
- And a Elements the Photos and write the type of design you are looking for (example: “Spring”).
- Filter by Graphics the Photos according to what you need.
- Modify colors if the design allows it.
- Add additional effects and elements such as paint brushes.
- Another option would be to design your own designs using elements from the Canva gallery.
- Upload Designs from your Computer:
- And a Upload files.
- Select the image from your computer.
- Adjust the size and add text or additional details if you wish.
Text Customization
- Press Text and choose a style (size, font, color).
- To highlight text:
- Use eye-catching fonts to your liking, I use Lilita One and Magenta.
- Change the colors using the design palette.
- Add borders and effects to Effects.
- Complement with elements such as flowers or illustrations.
Download and Print the Design
- And a Share and select Descargar.
- Download in PDF Print for higher quality.
- Open the PDF file and select your sublimation printer.
- Adjust printing parameters:
- Paper location: Cassette the Paper Tray.
- Paper type: Premium Matte Presentation Paper.
- Quality: High.
- Mirror Mode (essential for sublimation with text).
Press Print.

If you notice that your print looks pale, Don’t worry. Prints for sublimation are activated with heat, and after pressing, the colors will look alive and bright.
