- Heat resistant surface or heat mat
- Scissors or guillotine (to cut out the designs)

Step by Step Tutorial here on My YouTube Channel.
Steps to create personalized wooden keychains:
- Prepare the designs:
deer Inkscape to create the designs or adjust them to your liking. If you have a specific idea in mind, you’re ready to start creating!
- Printing and preparing the keychain:
Once you have your designs ready, print on your sublimation paper using your sublimation printer. I am using my EPSON EcoTank ET15000 and tinta Hiipoo. Make sure the print is mirrored (upside down) so it looks perfect when you transfer it to the keychain.
- Cut and prepare the keychains:
Cut out the design using scissors or a guillotine. Then, place the design on the wooden keychain, making sure it is centered and well secured. You can use thermal tape to keep it in place. - Pressed with the VEVOR mini heat press:
Place the keychain with the design on the heat press and adjust the temperature and time according to the instructions on your press (generally 180–200°C for 60–90 seconds). This is the magical moment when your design will transfer perfectly to the keychain!
- Repeat for the reverse (if necessary):
If you want to personalize both sides of the keychain, repeat the process for the back, making sure to use the same technique. - These wooden keychains for sublimation The ones I purchased already come with all the necessary accessories to be assembled. After sublimating them, you just need to proceed to put them together. And that’s it! 🎉
- Once the keychain is assembled, you can enjoy it! you have a personalized keychain which is not only perfect for giving as a gift, but also ideal for adding to your online store or giving a unique touch to your business.
Perfect for all types of occasions:
These personalized keychains They are ideal for party favors, unique gifts, or even for personal use. If you have a custom products business, they are also a great addition to your sales portfolio! You can create designs for any special occasion, from weddings to birthday parties, and sell them as exclusive products!
Additional Tips:
- If you don’t have one mini heat press, Don’t worry. You can use any heat press you have available. I chose this mini press because I don’t need a big press for these types of small projects.
- Remember that the parchment paper It is optional, but can be useful if you want to protect your wooden keychains and make sure they are not damaged during pressing.
This tutorial is ideal if you are just getting started with sublimation or just looking for a fun and creative project. Dare to personalize your wooden keychains and share your designs with the world!
