- Any color Inkjet printer. I use a Canon Pixma Megatank.
- Any Cricut Machine I used a CRICUT MAKER but you can use a Cricut Explore Air if you have one
- You may use a home iron or heat press to transfer the design. I use the HTVRONT auto heat press.
- Cotton Thirts
How to Work with the Design?
You can work the design on any graphic design program you wish, be it Inkscape, Photoshop, Corel Draw and many more. You could also use the Cricut Design Space program or another cutter machine program. I use either the Inkscape program when cutting with scissors and the Cricut Design Space program when cutting using my Cricut machine. I will explain in detail below.
Insert the design into the desired graphic design program and adjust the size. If you are using the Cricut Design Space program, remember not to exceed 9.25″ by 6.75″ if printing letter size and 9.93″ by 6.51″ if printing A4 size.

How to Print the Design?
To print the design, you can use any color inkjet printer. {You do NOT need sublimation ink}. I use a CANON Pixma Megatank color printer. The parameters that I use to print on Siser Easycolor DTV sheets are: photo paper in matte and in quality I select high to obtain a sharp and quality print.
Once your image is ready, click on print, select the color inkjet printer you’re going to use, and hit preferences. Select photo paper, in media type select matte photo paper and in quality select high. Ok and print.

How to Cut the Design?
The design printed on Siser Easycolor DTV can be cut with scissors or with a cutting plotter such as Cricut, Silhouette Cameo, Scan N Cut or another. I use a Cricut Maker machine to cut my designs. I cut with the standard blade and on everyday iron on mode.

Settings to Cut with a Cutting Machine
Cricut®:
- Blade: Standard
- Setting: Everyday Iron-On
- Blade: Standard, 3
- Setting: Heat Transfer Material (smooth)
- Speed: 8
- Thickness: 6
- Blade: 2
- Speed: 1
- Pressure: 1
Weed the design.

How to Transfer the Design?
Once we have cut and shaved the design and if it is a simple cut, just remove the design from the transparent film and place it on the garment or shirt to be pressed. If the design is intricate or cut in several parts, it is recommended to use Siser TTD EasyMask to transfer the cut design to the garment.
At the time of transferring my design, I did not have the Siser TTD EasyMask, so I decided to use transfer tape from the Hippie Crafter brand and it worked perfectly. I should emphasize that Siser recommends using the Siser TTD EasyMask.
Press the garment for 20 seconds before placing the design. This to remove wrinkles. Then clean with a lint roller. Whether you are using transfer paper or not, it is highly recommended to put either a sheet of parchment paper or a teflon sheet on top of the design. I used the sheet that I removed from behind the design and it worked great for me.

How to Press the Design?
To press the design, you can use a home iron or a heat press. I am going to use my HTVRONT auto heat press.

What Temperature?
If you are going to use a heat press, you are going to press at 310o Fahrenheit for 15 seconds. [154o Celsius]
Result of Customization with Siser Easycolor DTV
This is the result of a customized t-shirt using Siser Easycolor DTV . After pressing, the colors become more vivid and the print looks as if it has been printed directly onto the fabric. After several tests, I found that it prints bright and vivid colors, is flexible, stretchable and durable. It does not break or peel with washing. {I have washed it a few times}. In addition, it is very soft and comfortable to wear.
