After creating and preparing my designs in Kittl, I used DTF printing to bring them to life. DTF stands for Direct-to-Film, a printing method that allows you to transfer printed designs onto suitable fabrics and other compatible materials using heat.
I used my xTool Apparel Printer to print my designs and the xTool WonderPress heat press to apply them to my projects.
I created personalized items, including a kitchen towel, tote bags, and T-shirts. Seeing the designs move from the screen onto actual products is one of my favorite parts of the process!
You don’t have to use the same equipment I do. The tools you need will depend on the type of product you want to make and your preferred printing method. The important thing is that once you have a design you love, you can start exploring ways to use it.
