Lately I’ve been challenging myself to take my projects to a whole new scale—literally. Project 1: Layered Christmas Ornaments
For my first project, I used the Laser Flat mode to cut layered ornaments in multiple sizes — including extra-large ones perfect for doors or walls.
I opened the WeCreat MakeIt software, connected the machine, and loaded my design — an adorable reindeer SVG from Creative Fabrica.
After resizing the SVG, I selected plywood in the materials menu and let the WeCreat Vision Pro 45W auto-focus. Once framed and confirmed, I began cutting.
Painting & Assembly
I painted the layers using both matte and metallic acrylic paints. If you want the exact paints I used, you can find the metallic set here and the regular acrylic paint here.
Once dry, I glued everything together using CYAFIXED permanent glue.
These ornaments are great for selling during the holidays, gifting, or adding to your craft portfolio.
Project 2: Huge 1×4 ft Christmas Sign (Using the Automatic Pass-Through Feeder)
This is where the WeCreat Vision Pro 45W truly shines.
Using the Automatic Pass-Through Feeder, I created a 1×4 ft porch sign, something most diode lasers can’t handle due to size limitations.
I used 6 mm plywood cut from a 2×4 panel from Home Depot. I loaded the board through the feeder, refreshed the workspace in MakeIt, and placed the free design from my blog — you can download that design here.
After cutting the pieces with the WeCreat Vision Pro 45W, I painted them and glued them onto a blank sign I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I also created other large designs that you can see on my Youtube video
The result is a beautiful, extra-long Christmas sign perfect for porches, entryways, and seasonal displays.
Project 3: Thick 19 mm Wooden Christmas Trees
One of the biggest advantages of the WeCreat Vision Pro 45W is its ability to cut up to 25 mm wood. I tested it with a 19 mm board, and it cut perfectly — in one pass!
After painting and gluing the bases with CYAFIXED permanent glue, the trees turned out adorable. They can be customized with names, left natural, or used as tabletop holiday décor.
