Unboxing the Gochi Fix Heat Press
When I opened the box, the first thing that caught my attention was the modern design. The GochiFix comes in white with steel and aluminum details that make it look very elegant and sturdy.
Here’s what’s inside the box:
- A 15×15 inch heat plate – perfect for t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and more.
- A sliding work area – which makes it easier and safer to place garments without burning your hands.
- Accessories like an insulation mat, heat-resistant gloves, and a protective sponge.
The machine heats up to 400°F (200°C) and allows you to program up to 999 seconds. What I love most is that the pressure adjusts automatically, which takes all the guesswork out of pressing.
Testing the GochiFix with Three Techniques
To really see what the Gochi Fix could do, I tried three of the most popular personalization methods. Here’s how each one turned out:
1. Sublimation Test
For the sublimation test, I used a polyester tote bag. I pre-pressed for 10 seconds to remove wrinkles, placed butcher paper inside to protect the back, aligned my design, taped it with heat-resistant tape, and covered it with a Teflon sheet.
- Settings: 360°F for 60 seconds.
- Result: The design came out vibrant, colorful, and super sharp! It looked so bright and cheerful—perfect for summer.

2. Iron-On with Glitter Vinyl
Next, I personalized a kitchen towel with glitter iron-on vinyl. This design is free on my blog, and it’s perfect for home projects or gifts.
- Settings: 320°F for 20 seconds.
- Result: The glitter adhered perfectly, the design looked stunning, and the press made the process super quick and easy.

3. DTF (Direct to Film) on a Black Tote
Finally, I tested the press with a DTF transfer on a black tote bag. One of the best things about DTF is that it works on any fabric type and any color.
- First press: 320°F for 20 seconds with Teflon on top.
- Cold peel, then placed the film back, covered with Teflon, and pressed again for 10 seconds.
- Result: The design adhered beautifully and looked flawless on the black fabric.
This test proved how versatile the GochiFix is for all types of projects.

Final Thoughts
After testing sublimation, iron-on with glitter vinyl, and DTF, I can confidently say that the GochiFix heat press is a fantastic machine. It’s powerful, easy to use, safe, and stylish. The automatic pressure adjustment and sliding tray make it a joy to work with, whether you’re just starting out or already running a personalization business.
