What Is the LaserPecker LP4?

The LaserPecker LP4 is a desktop laser engraving machine that features a compact design, dual-laser technology (10W blue diode + 2W infrared), and ultra-high precision of 0.0019 mm. This allows you to engrave or cut a wide range of materials—from wood and cardboard to coated metals like aluminum, stainless steel, and more.

Setup is incredibly easy! Simply download the official LaserPecker Design Space app on your phone or computer. Connect the machine via Bluetooth, import your design, adjust the engraving settings, and you’re ready to go.

In my video tutorial, I tested the LP4 on several materials. Here’s a quick breakdown of what I tried:

  • Balsa wood – I engraved a grayscale photo with impressive definition.
  • Coated metal cards – Perfect for elegant, high-contrast designs.
  • Slate stone – Great for custom souvenirs and rustic decor pieces.
  • Solid wood (coasters & cutting boards) – Deep, high-quality engravings.
  • Cardstock – Ideal for creative tags, invitations, and paper crafts.
  • Wooden boxes & large items – Using the manual mode, I engraved directly without a base.
  • Cylindrical objects (like tumblers) – The Rotary Tool made engraving easy and precise.
